Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and join group.
First visit is to Hagia Sophia, a former Orthodox patriarchal basilica, later a mosque and now a museum. See spectacular mosaics which depict the Virgin Mother, Jesus, saints, Byzantine emperors and empresses and biblical scenes. Continue the tour with Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), the culmination of two centuries of both Ottoman mosque and Byzantine church development. Visit Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the sporting and social centre of Constantinople. Then, see Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the World. After lunch, visit Topkapi Palace, the official and primary residence in the city of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years. Finally, visit Rustem Pasha Mosque, which is famous for its large quantities of exquisite Iznik tiles.
After the visits, drive back to your hotel.
