Itinerary
1
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby for a half day Bosphorus tour.
Before embarkation on the boat, visit the Spice Bazaar (or Egyptian Bazaar), the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar. The bazaar was (and still is) the center for spice trade. Filled with spices, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, lokum (Turkish delight) and other edibles, Spice Bazaar have a smell of the fragrance of the exotic East.
Then, embark on a ferry boat for an excursion on the Bosphorus, which is a strait that forms part of the boundary between Europe and Asia. The name comes from Greek Bosporos, which the ancient Greeks analyzed as bous (means ox) and poros (means "passing a river, ford"); thus meaning ox-ford. Enjoy viewing Ottoman palaces, citadels, centuries-old mansions and old and new faces of Istanbul on the European and Asian shorelines at the same time.
After disembarkation, drive back to the hotel.
